Mayor’s Grants

We accept small grant applications to the Mayor’s Small Grant fund which are up to £300.  There is no deadline for these applications and they are assessed on a rolling basis until funds are depleted.

Community Grants

A community grants round is now open for applications and will close on Sunday 28th February 2021.

Going forward applications to this fund will be on a rolling basis and will welcomed at any point throughout the year.

This fund is for applications of up to £3k from groups and organisations who can demonstrate:

  • Improved physical, mental, emotional health, and environmental or economic outcomes
  • Direct, positive, impact for Frome residents

The People’s Budget – Events

This round is currently closed.

Applications will be welcomed from local, not for profit and community groups. Previous successful People’s Budget Events have included the Frome Children’s Festival, Frome Fireworks, Fitness for all, Light the Night lantern procession, among a host of others.

Frome Activities and Sports Trust Grant

The aim is to enable access to sports and activities for all (young, old, sporty, not at all sporty etc!).You can apply for a grant if you:

  • Are a voluntary organisation run by unpaid volunteers
  • Are open to all and not selective in your membership
  • Offer individuals/groups the opportunity to take part in a sport or activity where access to such an opportunity may otherwise be restricted
  • The sport or activity you offer takes place within the BA11 postcode area
